Four-Person Shared Living Begins, How Will Chores Be Divided...? Episode 1 Synopsis & Preview Stills Released for the Anime "A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2"! Special Program Scheduled for the Night of Tanabata

The synopsis, preview stills, and web teaser for Episode 1 of the anime "A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2" have been released. In addition, prior to the broadcast, a special program will air on July 7 (Monday) at 20:00.

The original manga is a romantic comedy by Miki Yoshikawa, known for works such as "Yankee-kun to Megane-chan" and "Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo." The story follows Nagi Umino (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) and Erika Amano (voiced by Akari Kitō), who were switched at birth and raised without knowledge of their biological parents, and who become officially engaged with both families' consent, intertwining their lives in a romantic comedy. In the first season, which aired in 2022, the "love square" was depicted with additions like Hiro Segawa (voiced by Nao Tōyama) and Sachi Umino (voiced by Konomi Kohara). In the second season, Nagi's childhood first love appears, advancing the story into a "love pentagon."
