Aoi Ichikawa, Katsuyuki Konishi, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Yumiri Hanamori Take the Stage at "Gachiakuta" Global Premiere Advance Screening Report! Paledusk Also Makes Surprise Appearance

"Gachiakuta," currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, began its TV anime broadcast on July 6th across 28 stations nationwide on the CBC/TBS network. On July 4th, a global premiere advance screening event was held at Shinjuku Piccadilly, featuring voice actors Aoi Ichikawa (Rudo), Katsuyuki Konishi (Enjin), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Zanka), and Yumiri Hanamori (Riyo).

"Gachiakuta" is a battle action series centered around the protagonist Rudo, who lives in a slum inhabited by descendants of criminals. The series is also characterized by cutting-edge designs by Hideyoshi Ando of graffiti design.

At the global premiere advance screening event, episodes 1 and 2 were screened, followed by a talk show featuring the main cast. When Ichikawa reintroduced the series, saying "The atmosphere of the original work has been perfectly adapted into anime," applause erupted from the audience.

Matsuoka and Hanamori, who play two characters that have yet to appear in the advance screening episodes, mentioned while being mindful of spoilers that they hope viewers will look forward to the meeting scene between Rudo and Zanka in episode 3.
