Commemorative “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle” Wrapped Taxis Begin Operating in Tokyo! Exclusive In-Car Commercials Voiced by Natsuki Hanae and Other Leading Cast Members

To celebrate the release of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Part 1: The Return of Akaza,” a collaboration with the taxi app “S.RIDE” has been decided. Eight taxis wrapped with illustrations of the main characters started operating in Tokyo from Tuesday, July 8. In addition, it has been announced that exclusive in-car commercials featuring the main voice actors will also be aired.

The original work is the manga “Kimetsu no Yaiba” by Koyoharu Gotouge, and the animation is produced by ufotable. So far, the TV anime series has included “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc,” “Mugen Train Arc,” “Entertainment District Arc,” “Swordsmith Village Arc,” and “Hashira Training Arc,” while “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train” achieved the highest box office revenue in Japanese history (51.7 billion yen). It was also announced that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle” will be produced as a trilogy, with the first part premiering Friday, July 18.

During the campaign period, the S.RIDE app will feature a special version that displays the current locations of the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” wrapped taxis as character icons. Users can check the real-time location of their favorite character-wrapped taxis and specify a vehicle for dispatch directly from the app.

Furthermore, in taxis equipped with the “GROWTH” digital signage media in the rear seats, special commercials exclusive to this collaboration, voiced by the four main cast members of the anime—Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kitō, Hiro Shimono, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka—will be aired.
