A special, high-impact video featuring the elite detective duo Kabir and Dir from the animated film “Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers,” which premieres nationwide on August 8, has been released.
Since the very first theatrical release in 1993, the “Crayon Shin-chan” movie series has come out annually. The 32nd film takes place in India, where the Kasukabe Defense Force gets caught up in a dance extravaganza.
Recently, a scene showing Wolf, played by Kento Kaku, passionately singing generated huge buzz, sending anticipation for the film’s musical segments soaring. Amid this excitement, a new special video has been released featuring the elite detective duo from the Indian Secret Unsolved Mysterious Case Special Investigation Unit: Kabir Kacchapapal Pakkapapal Kacchapapal Pakapaapal, commonly known as Kabir, and his partner Dir. In this video, they perform the fiery song “India Power 120%.”
Koichi Yamadera brings the versatile voice of Kabir to life, while Show Hayami delivers a commanding low register as Dir. Since the trailer was released, in which one chorus of the song played, it has been the talk of the town. In the newly released video, the two characters sing passionately as they execute intense Indian movie-style dance and action sequences. The scene centers on Bo-chan, who now has a piece of paper stuck in one nostril and his hair standing on end, transforming into a “Bō-kun” (Tyrant). Kabir and Dir stand on either side of Bo-chan, protecting him and engaging in fierce action. With sharp-eyed battle scenes against their enemies, this footage is a mix of humor and excitement that keeps you hooked until the very end.
Their well-trained, boundless physical prowess is showcased in crisp, energetic dance moves—so catchy you'll want to imitate them yourself. The lively guitar sound and unforgettable melody leave a lasting impression, and the duet features the exquisite blend of Koichi Yamadera’s high tones as Kabir and Show Hayami’s profound bass as Dir, resulting in an explosively glamorous “India Power” number.
