Commemorating the Final Chapter of "BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-"—Featured on the Cover! August Issue of "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" to be Released on July 9, 2025

"BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-" reaches its final chapter in the August issue of "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine," to be released on July 9, 2025. The series will feature both a cover illustration and center color pages. A special campaign with a chance to win prizes will also be held.

Additionally, "Wistoria: Wand and Sword," which has been confirmed for a second season of its TV anime, will appear in the center color pages in celebration of the release of its 13th manga volume. The new series "Yeti, a Day in the life," which starts in this issue, will debut with opening color pages.

Completion of "BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-"

"BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-" is the official spin-off manga of "BLUELOCK," which is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine." With total sales of more than 2 million comic volumes, the first theatrical film adaptation "BLUELOCK THE MOVIE -Episode Nagi-" released in April 2024 was a huge hit, surpassing 1.8 billion yen in box office revenue.

The center color illustration for the final chapter fittingly features an assembly of members from "Blue Lock," led by Seishirō Nagi and Reo Mikage.

"BLUELOCK," written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, has surpassed 45 million copies in circulation worldwide and won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the boys' category. Set in the "Blue Lock" project, which aims to foster an egotistical striker to lead Japan to victory at the World Cup, the story depicts 300 high school forwards from across the country fiercely competing to survive.

The series received an anime adaptation, with Season 1 broadcast from October 2022 and Season 2 scheduled for October 2024. Its innovative world, unique characters, and passionate storyline have won widespread popularity.
