The Blu-ray BOX for the anime "Soar High! Isami," which was broadcast on BS Hi-Vision starting in April 1996, will go on sale on July 25, 2025 (Friday).
"Soar High! Isami" is NHK's first original anime project developed from the planning stage. The story revolves around a trio of fifth graders—Isami Hanaoka, Toshi Tsukikage, and Soushi Yukimi—who are actually descendants of the Shinsengumi heroes from the Bakumatsu era. Together, they join forces to battle the evil secret organization known as the Black Tengu Party, nurturing a spirit of adventure, dreams, and friendship along the way.
