The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 2 of the anime A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2 have been released.
The original work is a romantic comedy manga by Miki Yoshikawa, known for Yankee-kun to Megane-chan and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches. It tells the story of Nagi Umino (CV: Kaito Ishikawa), who was switched at birth and raised not knowing his biological parents, and Erika Amano (CV: Akari Kitō), as they become officially engaged with the approval of both families, leading to a tangled web of life and love. The first season, aired in 2022, depicted a “love square” including Hiro Segawa (CV: Nao Tōyama) and Sachi Umino (CV: Konomi Kohara); in Season 2, the plot evolves into a “love pentagon” with the appearance of Nagi's childhood first love.
