![[Photos/Images] No Matter How You Look at It, "Isn't He the Red Comet?" Even Looking Back at "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," the Blonde Character's Presence Was Always Suspicious 1st](https://times-abema.ismcdn.jp/mwimgs/a/6/724w/img_a658962cc9dd2b2f13ae3799c619ec131115465.png)
In Episode 8 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," a blond young man suddenly appears—his name is "Shirouz." But 99% of viewers must have muttered internally, "That's totally Char, isn't it?"
In this episode, which is packed with flashbacks of past battles and an assassination plot against Kycillia, the scene shifts to a lunar airport towards the end. There, a man appears—blonde, blue-eyed, and dressed in a suit. His name may be "Shirouz," but his voice is provided by Yūki Shin, the same actor who voices Char Aznable, and everything from his mannerisms to his way of speaking is unmistakably "him."
In the ending credits, only "Char Aznable - Yūki Shin" was listed, and the name "Shirouz" was absent. Naturally, the internet quickly caught fire, and the "Shirouz = Char theory" spread at lightning speed.
Comments like "He sounds like Char!" "He has Char's eyes," and "Casval usually hides his eyes with his bangs" were all over the place, with everyone inwardly convinced, but also wondering, "But would they really make it this obvious? Maybe it's a trap," leading to widespread suspicion.
Some went further, theorizing, "No, maybe he's actually a clone," or "Did a Char from another universe get transported here by Zeknova?"—with such "multi-dimensional Char" theories surfacing, fans' imaginations and speculation spiraled out of control.
