Anime "My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON" Premieres October 4! Key Visual Unveiled

It has been announced that "My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON," the final chapter in the anime series, will air starting October 4 every Saturday at 5:30 pm. In addition, a key visual has been revealed, and special projects are underway in anticipation of the broadcast.

"My Hero Academia" (commonly known as "HeroAca"), the immensely popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) for ten years from 2014 to 2024. Set in a world where supernatural abilities called "Quirks" are commonplace, this hero action series follows the protagonist Izuku Midoriya, also known as "Deku," as he grows alongside his friends at the prestigious UA High School for hero training. The story depicts Deku's journey to become a hero who protects society and stands up against villains who misuse Quirks for evil deeds.

The newly unveiled key visual for the anime, illustrated by Yoshihiko Umakoshi (character designer for "HeroAca") and produced by Bones Film, features the tagline, "This is the story of how we all become the greatest heroes." The artwork shows Deku raising his fist powerfully toward Tomura Shigaraki and All Might donning armored gear as he stands against All For One.

Ahead of the broadcast, a special project titled "My Hero Academia The Animation: Character’s ULTIMATE SCENE RANKING" will be launched. In this project, fans and viewers can vote to determine the ultimate scene rankings for each of the 42 heroes and villains featured in the TV anime from Season 1 to Season 7.

A dedicated website for voting and a specialized YouTube channel containing all of the nominated scenes have been opened. This allows fans not only to check out each scene for voting, but also to enjoy looking back on past seasons. The voting page is available in both Japanese and English, enabling votes from both Japan and overseas.
