The final chapter of the TV anime Golden Kamuy will air from January 2026 on TOKYO MX and other networks. Prior to the broadcast, the prologue arc, the "Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen" (Sapporo Beer Factory Arc), will be shown in two parts as a theatrical advance edition, to be released nationwide in October 2025. Additionally, the theme song for the theatrical edition has been announced as "Ougon no Kanata" performed by Awich × ALI.

The original manga, created by Satoru Noda, was serialized in Weekly Young Jump and became a massive hit. It won numerous awards, including the top prize at the "Manga Taishō 2016" and the grand prize at the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. The comic series, in a total of 31 volumes, has exceeded 29 million copies in circulation. On top of that, both the live-action film and drama adaptations have enjoyed great success.

In this theatrical advance edition, the "Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen" from the final chapter of the TV anime will be released in two parts ahead of the television broadcast. The animation production will continue under Brain's Base, with Chief Director Shizutaka Sugahara, who led the fourth season of the TV anime. As the story accelerates towards its climax, the ultimate entertainment revolving around the Ainu’s hidden gold is depicted without change to the established staff.

The first part of the theatrical advance edition, "Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen Part 1," will premiere on Friday, October 10, 2025, and the second part, "Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen Part 2," will be released on Friday, October 31, 2025.
