“The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses” is based on the manga of the same name by author Norishirochan and artist Yukiji Setsuda. It’s a “harem death love comedy” featuring Toto, a hero with no tolerance for women who faints when he gets nervous, and three beautiful women who aim to assassinate him for their own purposes.

Episode 2: “The Fainting Hero’s First Adventure”
[Synopsis]
Having registered with the Adventurers’ Guild, the hero Toto’s party is excited about their first adventure. Despite this, Toto remains as faint-hearted as ever, constantly fainting and lacking confidence. Meanwhile, Ciel, Anemone, and Goa each prepare to assassinate Toto, deciding the order in which they will attempt to do so. Their first mission as a party is to head to the Spring Cave to mine iron ore. Behind this simple task, Ciel makes her first attempt at assassination inside the cave.
