"Hoping to Convey Even a Little of Raden-chan’s Charm" – Impressions After Wearing My Second Cosplay

On June 21–22, 2025, "acosta!@Ikebukuro Sunshine City" was held in Tokyo. We’re featuring photos of Tina, who attended the event cosplaying as Raden Juufutei, along with an interview about the points she focused on with her cosplay and what she’d like to try in the future.

—— What made you decide to cosplay as Raden Juufutei this time?

Tina (honorifics omitted hereafter): Actually, this is only my second time cosplaying. The first time, I talked with a friend who cosplays, telling them, “I’ve always wanted to try it,” and we decided to match our cosplays together. That’s how I ended up cosplaying as Ayame-chan at Niconico Chokaigi 2025!

I enjoyed it so much more than I’d imagined, and as I discussed with my friend what I should do next, we decided I would take on Raden-chan this time! I’m still learning a lot, but I’m working on it while valuing the character’s worldview in my own way, and having fun along the way!
