“Flower Garden” Concept! “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Cafe Flower Garden” Opening for a Limited Time

The “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Cafe Flower Garden” will open for a limited time starting Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Tokyo and Osaka, and from Thursday, August 7 in Aichi.

Currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday (Shogakukan), “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada (original story) and Tsukasa Abe (art). Set in a world after the hero party has defeated the Demon King, it follows Frieren, a mage who has lived for over a thousand years and fought alongside the hero, as she journeys and encounters new people. The series has won numerous manga awards, and its published comics have surpassed a cumulative total of 24 million copies sold, stirring a sensation among manga fans.

The TV anime adaptation, based on this manga, aired from September 2023 to March 2024 and garnered a wide, enthusiastic fanbase both domestically and internationally. The long-awaited second season is set to air on the Nippon TV network starting January 2026.

Now, it has been decided that a theme cafe inspired by the “flower field” concept from “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” will open in Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi, allowing visitors to experience the world of the series firsthand.

The menu features a photogenic and varied selection designed to evoke memorable scenes from the series: a salad pasta inspired by the magic that creates a “beautiful” flower field, a maple chicken sandwich representing the dance scene of Stark and Fern, a recreation of the donuts and tea that Frieren and Fern enjoyed together, a plate replicating the “Half-Century Meteor” witnessed by the hero’s party in their last adventure, desserts inspired by Frieren caught between mimics, and themed drinks.

Additionally, the cafe will offer original merchandise and bonuses using newly drawn illustrations.
