The anime "The Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses" is based on the manga of the same name by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukiji Setsuda. It's a "harem death love comedy" featuring the extremely shy hero Toto, who faints easily due to his lack of resistance to women, and three beautiful women who aim for the hero's life for their own purposes.

Synopsis:
The assassination (and pet-ification) attempts on Toto by the assassin princesses continue. Gore takes Toto on a date. She pretends to share a sweet moment while secretly administering various poisons, but none seem to affect Toto. Discouraged by the ineffectiveness of her skills, Gore feels down. Meanwhile, Anemone heads out on a mission alone with Toto. As their conversation doesn’t flow well due to their mutual shyness, Anemone inquires about Toto's facial scar, leading to a revelation about his past.
