Daisuke Namikawa & Taku Yashiro Engage in a Heated Debate Showdown! Viewers Thrilled by Their Verbal Battle

On July 2, 2025 (Wednesday) at 10 PM, ABEMA aired episode #10 of "Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday."

In this episode, Daisuke Namikawa and Taku Yashiro held a "Live Debate with Viewer Participation," engaging in a heated debate battle during the live broadcast. Viewers participated by writing the surname of the debater they resonated with in kanji in the comments section in real time. The one who accumulated more comments would be declared the winner.

The first topic was "If there's one piece of karaage left at a work drinking party, do you eat it or not?" Namikawa took the "don't eat it" stance, while Yashiro argued for "eat it." Namikawa explained, "There are both seniors and juniors at work. I think the one piece left is a 'stock.' If there's none left, the only choices are to endure or order more. By leaving it, you're giving others options."

On the other hand, Yashiro argued, "That karaage is the result of everyone being polite and refraining. It’s a state where no one can reach out due to reading the room. I feel sorry for the karaage." When Namikawa laughed, asking, "Are you speaking from the karaage's perspective?" Yashiro earnestly replied, "Karaage was once life. It’s a waste if it’s left to go cold after being served."

Here, Namikawa joked, "That's why you're called useless. Everyone but humans has a cat tongue," and was informed by staff, "Namikawa-san, you've surpassed 100 comments." Namikawa continued, "There are also humans with cat tongues. Some people can't eat because it's hot—think about their feelings. Are you a demon?" Yashiro then also crossed the 100-comment mark.

"You called me useless, didn't you? The last piece can't possibly be hot," Yashiro countered. Namikawa responded, "Some people can't eat the first hot piece," and Yashiro answered, "That's fine, I'm not telling anyone to get rid of it." Time was up, and both remained at 100 comments, resulting in a draw.
