In the next segment, the two took on a “watermelon carving” challenge with the theme, "Can We Make This Watermelon Even Cuter?" Appearing as the instructor, carving artist Mr. Ninomiya explained tips on using the special carving knife and gave key design pointers as Serizawa and Naganawa challenged themselves to create pieces themed around "flower baskets."

Once the activity started, Serizawa smiled and commented, "This feels like arts and crafts—so fun!" Naganawa mentioned she was good at crafts and listened intently to Mr. Ninomiya's advice as she worked. There were also moments where they snuck a tasty bite of watermelon, and the atmosphere remained convivial throughout. They also talked about their childhood dreams, with Naganawa looking back and saying, "Honestly, I wanted to say I wanted to be a cake shop owner, but I was too shy," and sharing an episode where, after hearing the kid in front of her at kindergarten say "I want to be a florist," she also said, "I want to be a florist."

In the latter half of the program, Serizawa and Naganawa each added their own original designs around the watermelon’s rim, with both aiming to create distinctly unique works.
