The official ABEMA Anime Channel X account has announced the top three most commented scenes from episode 3, "Rejection," of "The Summer Hikaru Died."

"The Summer Hikaru Died" (abbreviated as "Hikanatsu") is a coming-of-age horror manga by Mokumokuren, currently serialized on the manga site "Young Ace UP" (KADOKAWA), where the thrills and anxieties of adolescence intersect with horror.

The story follows Yoshiki Tsujinaka, an ordinary high school boy, as he navigates various mysterious incidents that occur around him while living with a mysterious "something" that mimics his childhood friend, Hikaru. The chilling developments born from the madness between the "something" and the boy have captivated many readers, resulting in the manga surpassing 3 million copies in circulation. The TV anime series began airing in July 2025.
