Tomokazu Maeno, Aya Uchida, Atsushi Abe, and Other "Northern Kanto Voice Actors" Battle in Local PR Showdown! Tomoko Kaneda Repeatedly Makes Offbeat Comments

On ABEMA’s "Anime LIVE Channel," "Say You To Yo Asobi Connect【Tomoko Kaneda × Sobii × Tomokazu Maeno】" was broadcast for one week starting Monday, July 7, 2025.

"Say You To Yo Asobi Connect" features a monthly “Connect Week” segment hosted by a Monthly MC. For July’s Connect Week, Tomokazu Maeno served as the Monthly MC. From Monday to Friday, the program presented the segment “Let’s Connect Through Games!” where two guests played TV games together. On the live broadcast on Saturday the 12th, a special segment titled “Northern Kanto Voice Actors Gathering SP” was held.

In this episode, in addition to Maeno, who hails from Ibaraki Prefecture, guest stars included Aya Uchida from Gunma Prefecture and Atsushi Abe from Tochigi Prefecture. The show featured a presentation battle in which each voiced the appeal and local delicacies of their region, and each prefecture’s local mascots also made appearances.
