Episode 15: "The Strongest Squad"
[Synopsis]
Kaiju No. 9 appears for the third time and splits into two bodies, bewildering the Defense Force. Kafka and Kikoru Shinomiya (voiced by Fairouz Ai) fight together, but the endlessly evolving Kaiju No. 9 keeps them on the defensive. Furthermore, Kafka fails to transform into Kaiju No. 8. Trapped in a desperate situation, Kikoru remembers the promise she made with her late mother, Hikaru Shinomiya. Meanwhile, Gen Narumi engages in an intense battle of offense and defense with the other Kaiju No. 9.
