Chiikawa is a popular manga series by illustrator Nagano, which began serialization in 2020 with posts on X (formerly Twitter). It received the Grand Prix at the Japan Character Awards 2022 and again at the Japan Character Awards 2024 announced in July 2024. The charming gap between the cute little characters and their harsh world view has earned fans of all ages, and the account’s followers have surpassed 4.17 million as of now.

The new series of the Chiikawa anime will begin broadcasting within “Mezamashi TV” (around 7:40 AM) from July 15. The ending sequence, featuring the song “Hitorigotsu” sung by Hachiware, has been updated with a brand-new version.
