“Magazine Pocket” Celebrates 10th Anniversary! Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s “Mirai no Kakera” Collab PV Released, Featuring Congratulatory Messages from Yuki Kaji, Daisuke Sakuma of Snow Man, and More

The manga app “Magazine Pocket,” operated by the editorial department of Kodansha's “Weekly Shonen Magazine,” will celebrate its 10th anniversary on August 1, 2025. To commemorate this milestone, a variety of special projects are underway, including the release of special visuals and videos, messages from celebrities, and greetings from the editor-in-chief.

The 10th anniversary commemorative visual features characters from a total of 12 series, including “Aoku Somero!,” “I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince,” “Jumidoro,” “WIND BREAKER,” “Guilty Circle,” “GALAXIAS,” “Jujika no Rokunin,” “FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST,” “Hanabasu,” “The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity,” and “The Witch and the Mercenary.” Each character is newly illustrated with Magazine Pocket’s signature blue color scheme.

Additionally, a commemorative PV in collaboration with popular band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s song “Mirai no Kakera” is being made available for a limited time. More than 20 series are participating in this video, including “The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity,” “Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie,” “Guilty Circle,” “Ijimeru Yabai Yatsu,” “I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince,” “WIND BREAKER,” and “FAIRY TAIL 100 YEARS QUEST.”
