Unexpectedly Charming Smile from Maomao in "The Apothecary Diaries" Shocks Jinshi into a Frenzy

Maomao (Voiced by: Aoi Yuki), who was usually aloof towards him, greeted Jinshi (Voiced by: Takeo Otsuka) with an incredibly cute smile and a "Welcome home!"—and it broke him! The expression Maomao showed in Episode 15 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries" was powerful enough to captivate viewers.

Maomao generally has a "salty" attitude towards people or things she's not interested in. Even towards Jinshi, renowned as a stunningly handsome man, she maintains a cool demeanor, brushing off his advances.

The only time Maomao's expression lights up is when she's thinking about her beloved "poisons" and "medicines." In Episode 15, she was enthusiastically contemplating whether to make a medicinal wine or pills out of the caterpillar fungus, giggling to herself, "Should I make it into medicinal wine or pills? Ufufufu."
