“Tougen Anki” is based on the popular manga by Yura Urushibara, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten). The story is a new-generation dark hero demon tale that uses the well-known Japanese folktale “Momotaro” as a motif, depicting the conflict between those with oni (ogre) blood and those with Momotaro’s blood. The plot begins when Shiki, a boy living as a human, is suddenly attacked by a mysterious man from the “Momotaro Organization.”

Episode 4 “Cooperate”
[Synopsis]
After successfully activating his blood release, Shiki defeats a giant made of blood with a gun he created, but overuses his blood and becomes immobilized. Meanwhile, Kōgasaki, ignoring the fallen Shiki and Byobugaura, takes advantage of a special rule: “If you kill the oni role, you graduate immediately,” and challenges Mudano. However, unable to lay a scratch on Mudano, who doesn’t use his oni blood powers, Kōgasaki loses. With little time remaining, it seems nearly impossible to find the required ball to win. Even so, Shiki refuses to give up and proposes teaming up with Kōgasaki. Together, they successfully steal the ball from Mudano. After obtaining the ball, Kōgasaki initially tries to claim victory for himself but, not wanting to owe a favor, returns to Shiki. At that moment, Baku Mukkun of “Baku-Speed Network” brings a certain message.
