"Sakamoto Days" is based on the popular manga by Yuto Suzuki, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The series boasts a worldwide circulation exceeding 15 million copies. The story is a “neo-action tale blending the ordinary and the extraordinary.” It follows Tarō Sakamoto, a retired legendary assassin now running a quaint neighborhood shop, as he faces off against a parade of attackers to protect the peaceful everyday life he cherishes with his beloved family. Starting in July 2025, the long-awaited second cour of the anime will begin airing.
