The official ABEMA Anime Channel X account has announced the Top 3 Most Commented Scenes during the broadcast of Episode 4, “Summer Festival,” from “The Summer Hikaru Died.”

“The Summer Hikaru Died” (abbreviated as “Hikanatsu”) is a youth horror manga series by Mokumokuren, currently serialized on the manga site Young Ace UP (KADOKAWA), featuring a chilling blend of adolescent unease and terror as its main theme.

The story portrays the ordinary high school boy Yoshiki Tsujinaka and his experiences with various mysterious incidents occurring around him, all while living alongside the enigmatic “something” that imitates his childhood friend Hikaru Indou. The spine-chilling developments, born from the madness harbored by both the “something” and the boy, have captivated many readers. The original manga series has surpassed a total of 3 million copies in circulation. The TV anime began broadcasting in July 2025.
