It has been decided that MX4D and 4DX screenings for the currently-released "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle - Act 1: Akaza Returns" will be held at 74 theaters nationwide.

The anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba" is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, which has surpassed 220 million copies in total circulation across volumes 1 to 23 of Shueisha’s Jump Comics. Animation production is by ufotable.

This work begins with the story of Tanjirō Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by demons, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demon-turned younger sister Nezuko back into a human. The TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba" Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc began airing in April 2019, followed by the release of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train" in October 2020. From 2021 to 2022, the series aired and streamed "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Mugen Train Arc" and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Entertainment District Arc." In February 2023, the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba World Tour: To the Swordsmith Village" was held, and in April the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc" was aired and streamed. From February 2024, the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba World Tour: To the Hashira Training" was held in over 145 countries and regions, surpassing the previous installment, and from May, the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Hashira Training Arc" was broadcasted and streamed.

It was then announced that "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle" will be produced as a trilogy, with Act 1: Akaza Returns having been released on Friday, July 18.

Now, it has been decided that MX4D and 4DX screenings will be held in 74 theaters nationwide for this film. There will be a special seven-day early screening limited to August 15 (Friday) through August 21 (Thursday), with general release starting from August 30 (Saturday). Additionally, starting August 30 (Saturday), a limited total of 300,000 attendees nationwide who watch the film in MX4D or 4DX will receive an exclusive “4D Visual Original Sticker” as a special bonus upon entry.
