The TV anime Rainy Day Serenade will premiere in April 2027, and the first key visual, a teaser PV, and information on the main cast and staff have been unveiled.
Rainy Day Serenade is based on the manga by Haruka Kawachi. It is a bittersweet time-slip romance about Hina Katagiri, a high school girl who finds herself transported to the 40th year of the Meiji era (1907), and her meeting with Takaaki Hongo, a young heir with a sorrowful air. The manga concluded its 11-year serialization in the January 2026 issue of Kiss (published by Kodansha), and a TV anime adaptation for 2027 had been announced.
