Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon suddenly petrified all humankind in an instant... In a world where civilization has collapsed, a science prodigy boy named Senku Ishigami awakens. "Dr. STONE," the TV anime, tells the tale of Senku's adventure as he takes on challenges using his genius scientific knowledge. The original manga, "Dr. STONE" (story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi), ran in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from Issue 14 of 2017 to Issue 14 of 2022, received the 2nd place in the "Next Manga Award 2018" (Comics Division) and the Shogakukan Manga Award (Boys' Division), and has surpassed 19 million copies in total circulation.
