[Synopsis]
Thanks to Kikoru's words, Kafka is able to transform into Kaiju No. 8 and unleashes his true power, overwhelming Kaiju No. 9. With the efforts of Narumi, Kikoru, and Kafka, the 1st Unit proves its capability as the strongest unit envisioned by the Japan Defense Force Director, Isao Shinomiya. However, the aftermath of victory is short-lived as alarms suddenly ring, and Kaiju No. 9 disappears after leaving ominous words: "I'll be taking your immense kaiju power." The Defense Force faces its greatest crisis yet!
