"The Summer Hikaru Died" (often abbreviated as "Hikanatsu") is a coming-of-age horror manga by Mokumokuren, currently serialized on the manga website Young Ace UP (KADOKAWA). The story follows an ordinary high school student, Yoshiki, as he experiences a series of bizarre and disturbing incidents in his everyday life with "something" mysterious that is imitating his childhood friend, Hikaru.
