At the entrance of the venue, which offers panoramic views of Tokyo’s cityscape—including skyscrapers, Tokyo Tower, and Tokyo Bay—a massive, imposing Evangelion Unit-01 figure crafted especially for this event appears against the backdrop of Tokyo’s vast scenery as seen from the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, 250 meters above sea level. This photo spot will colorfully enhance the "celebration" of the 30th anniversary.

The "settings"—such as characters, mechas, and other elements—are essential for building the Evangelion universe. This exhibition will display production materials from the original Neon Genesis Evangelion TV anime in a scale never attempted before.

A vast amount of material from 30 years ago has been consolidated and thoroughly examined for this event, and visitors can experience the evolving creation process of the work and feel the atmosphere of the creative studios of the time through this carefully selected, valuable collection.

Every new release in the Evangelion series has generated a huge response, and the series has been beloved for 30 years. Among these, the three films in the Rebuild of Evangelion series—Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo—attracted new fans, while Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time served as the conclusive chapter.

While production methods gradually became digital from the Rebuild films onward in line with the times, the intricate and extensive hands-on craftsmanship behind the scenes has remained unchanged. Visitors will be able to experience firsthand how worlds never seen before were constructed and feel the cutting edge of the production site.

Furthermore, visitors will be able to relive the story of the Children, which culminates in the stunning visual beauty of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time—released 14 years after Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone—through production materials and videos.
