Before I Knew It, I Was Heading Toward Earth! Machu's Silent Escape in "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" Was Too Brilliant

The "mad dog" tendencies of Machu, also known as Amate Yuzuriha (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), remain as strong as ever! Although she barely appeared in episode 8 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX," it was revealed near the end that she had somehow escaped and was making atmospheric reentry in the GQuuuuuuX. Despite the short scene, viewers were stunned at her overwhelming initiative, thinking, "How can someone take action like that?"

Episode 8 mainly focused on Char Aznable (voiced by Yūki Shin) during the late One Year War, as well as Nyaan (voiced by Yui Ishikawa), who had arrived at the lunar city of Granada. Many viewers probably thought that, despite being the protagonist, Machu wouldn't have any screen time this week. However, the unexpected event occurred with just about one minute left in the episode.

Machu, who had been imprisoned in Sodon after being captured along with the GQuuuuuuX by Challia Bull (voiced by Shinji Kawada), somehow succeeded in escaping. When Xavier Olivette (voiced by Seiichirō Yamashita), upon hearing the news, reacted in confusion—"But is it even possible to escape from a warship during active operations?"—Nyaan quietly remarked, "Machu is the real deal." The scene then shifted to the GQuuuuuuX bursting through the atmosphere and heading for Earth.
