New products featuring original illustrations from the anime "The Summer Hikaru Died" will be released starting August 23, 2025. On the same day, the "TV Anime 'The Summer Hikaru Died' Animate Fair" will also be held.
"The Summer Hikaru Died" is a youth horror story about a boy and a mysterious being that takes on the appearance of his best friend, created by the up-and-coming author Mokumokuren. The series has surpassed a total of 3.5 million copies in circulation. Furthermore, the eagerly awaited TV anime has been airing since July 2025, and it is currently a work that is attracting increasing attention and popularity.
From this popular work, new products like "Acrylic Stands" and "Can Badge Sets" featuring illustrations of Yoshiki and Hikaru are being introduced. Additionally, the lineup includes a variety of items such as the "Photo Booth Collection" featuring anime character standees of Asako Yamagishi, Rie Kurebayashi, and Tanaka, as well as the "Menchi Aniki Pouch" designed after the stray cat "Menchi Aniki."
Moreover, the "TV Anime 'The Summer Hikaru Died' Animate Fair" will be held from August 23 to September 15 at Animate stores nationwide and online. During the fair, customers who purchase or pre-order related products of the TV anime "The Summer Hikaru Died," spending at least 1,100 yen (tax included) for character goods, or purchasing/pre-ordering books, CDs, Blu-rays, or DVDs (with a minimum deposit of 1,100 yen tax included), will receive a "Postcard (6 types in total)" as a bonus.
