“Tougen Anki” is based on the popular manga by Yura Urushibara, serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” (Akita Shoten). Drawing inspiration from the well-known Japanese folktale “Momotaro,” it is a new-generation dark hero epic about the conflict between those who inherit the blood of demons (oni) and those who descend from Momotaro. The story begins when a boy named Shiki Ichinose (voiced by Kazuki Ura), who had lived as an ordinary human, is suddenly attacked by a mysterious man from the Momotaro Institution.

Episode 7 “A Beautiful Woman Is Tough to Handle”
[Synopsis]
Kyoya Oiranzaka, commander of the support team, and Jin Kōgasaki encounter Tsubakiri Momomiya and Yomogi Momokusa, who have infiltrated the Kyoto branch. Oiranzaka gives an order for Kōgasaki to retreat. Meanwhile, Momokusa uses the power of the peach to create a giant black box, trapping the entire Kyoto branch inside. Around the same time, Kōgasaki, having regrouped with Shiki and the others, discovers their escape route has been cut off. Then, the monster Aguri, unleashed by Tsubakiri, appears. As Aguri attacks the demons one after another, chaos erupts among the support team. Kuina Sazanami and Rokuro Kiriyama, having taken refuge in a small room, are attacked by one of the Aguris. As Rokuro loses the will to fight and tells Kuina that she is the only one he can depend on, she displays her naturally devoted disposition, unleashing her Blood Corrosion Release to confront Aguri head-on.
