What is noteworthy this week is the gradual rise in evaluations for "Kaiju No. 8" and "Gachiakuta." Season two of "Kaiju No. 8" continues to offer simultaneous global distribution on X, following the approach taken in its first season. On the other hand, "Gachiakuta" held global premiere screenings in 15 regions before its official broadcast. Both series are characterized by their active focus on overseas expansion.

Both "Kaiju No. 8" and "Gachiakuta" are based on manga and were already highly acclaimed abroad before their anime adaptations, so their aggressive global strategies could be considered a natural move. These approaches seem to be paying off, as reflected in their growing ratings.

After the end of "Takopi's Original Sin," other series have naturally moved up in overseas rankings. Whether a new anime will show a dramatic surge or the top contenders will further cement their positions remains to be seen, and trends should continue to be watched closely.
