Is a Qualification Needed to Work at Ramen Shop “Rō”? Caesar’s Thorough Preparation Impresses in “Chiikawa”

In episode 124 of the anime “Chiikawa,” Caesar (voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro) is depicted preparing to obtain the “Super Part-Timer” qualification in order to work at the ramen shop “Rō.”

In episode 123, Caesar asked to become an apprentice of Ramen no Yoroi-san (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka). Even though the request was not immediately approved, Caesar persistently continued to ask to become an apprentice.

In episode 124, Caesar once again earnestly pleads with Yoroi-san, saying, “I love the ramen at Rō. Please let me work here.” Then, Yoroi-san explains, “You need a ‘Super Part-Timer’ qualification to work here.” Apparently, acquiring this qualification is quite difficult. However, Caesar had already advanced to the final exam. Yoroi-san, surprised by this, says, “Even though it’s said to be super hard just to make it to the final exam!?” Caesar, earnest as ever, replies, “I worked hard, so please let me work here if I get the qualification,” and reiterates the request.
