In episode 20 of "My Dress-Up Darling Season 2," which began airing sequentially from August 23, crossdressing cosplayer Amane Himeno (voiced by Ayumu Murase) showed off a new outfit. Adorably striking a "cat pose," Amane captured viewers' hearts, prompting reactions such as, "an unbelievably high-quality crossdress" and "Amane, let me pay for this."

Amane, a male university student, is a cosplay friend of Marin Kitagawa (voiced by Hina Suguta), and not only in appearance but down to every gesture, Amane’s crossdressing is extremely well-executed. In episode 20, titled "The Only Way I Can Think of to Express My Gratitude Is to Pay," Amane participates in a cosplay event wearing a new costume.

Transformed with long blue hair and a distinctive large ribbon in a school uniform, Amane posed for the camera with both hands in a cat pose, gazed upward adorably, and flashed a series of cute expressions. The level of quality in the crossdressing was so high that even Suzuka (voiced by Marie Miyake), a friend of Marin, was left flustered, exclaiming, "U-u-unbelievable!" and "Being able to witness such high-quality crossdressing is nothing but a blessing; the only way I can think of to express my gratitude is to pay."
