[Synopsis]
Reno Ichikawa, who houses the power of "Kaiju No. 6" and has been selected to wield the Identified Kaiju Weapon 6, considered "the most powerful and dangerous" weapon, overcomes the trial period imposed by the Fourth Division Captain, Shūgo Ogata, and heads into his first actual mission equipped with the Identified Kaiju Weapon. Meanwhile, Iharu Furuhashi, also a member of the Fourth Division, harbors complicated feelings toward Reno, whose rapid growth has been remarkable.
