The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 45, the ninth episode of Season 4 of the anime "Rent-A-Girlfriend," have been released.

"Rent-A-Girlfriend" is a manga series by Reiji Miyajima, currently serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. When the first season of the anime aired in 2020, the cuteness of its heroines quickly became a hot topic. The second season followed in 2022, and the third season aired in July 2023. The official TV anime X (formerly Twitter) account now boasts over 350,000 followers, and the original manga has surpassed a worldwide cumulative circulation of 13.5 million copies, making this a hugely popular romantic comedy.

Kazuya Kinoshita (voiced by Shun Horie), a hopeless college student, introduces the pure and lovely “rental” girlfriend (Rent-a-Girlfriend) Chizuru Mizuhara (voiced by Sora Amamiya) as his real girlfriend to both his family and friends. Unable to confess the truth, Kazuya continues their “pretend” relationship but, as they overcome various events together, he gradually develops truly genuine feelings for Chizuru.
