Hollow Technique: Purple is an ultimate move that unleashes a pseudo-mass produced by colliding the two infinities—the Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue and the Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. In the anime, under the melody of piano music, blue and red energies collide, and as the music stops and silence descends, a purple light envelops Toji—such was the sequence. Toji, unable to counterattack, ends up losing half of his body.

Online, many praised the scene: “Murasaki was so mysterious...,” “It was incredibly divine,” and “I literally got goosebumps.” Opinions like “The music, art, and animation were all amazing…” also surfaced, making this one of the most beautiful scenes in the series.

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation including digital editions. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (voiced by Junya Enoki), who ends up sharing a body with the King of Curses, Ryōmen Sukuna (voiced by Junichi Suwabe), transfers into the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, an institution specializing in dealing with curses. The anime’s second season, broadcast from July to December 2023, depicted the highly popular "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and the "Shibuya Incident" from the original work. A sequel, the "Culling Game" arc, has also been announced for production.
