The official prequel comic of the anime "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners," titled "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS," was released on Thursday, August 28th. As a special bonus, it includes "Exclusive Voice Drama," "Original Content," and a "Pilgrimage Map of Iconic Locations from the Story."

"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" is based on the game "Cyberpunk 2077," which has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. The TV anime adaptation by the production company TRIGGER has become a global phenomenon, winning the "Anime of the Year" at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023.

The newly released comic "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners MADNESS" features an original story focusing on the popular sibling characters Pilar and Rebecca, showcasing their story before meeting David and others. The script, penned by Bartosz Sztybor, and the artwork by manga artist Asano, are responsible for this creation.

In celebration of the release, comments of support have been received from Mafia Kajita, dubbed the "Edgerunner of the Entertainment World," and Tomoyo Kurosawa, who voiced Rebecca in the anime. Mafia Kajita commented, "A bullet blooming in madness. The goddess of madness and love born from Night City." Kurosawa expressed, "She's cuter and tougher than anyone. I'd love to see her parents! ...Wait, we can see them!?"
