"5th Key Visual & Release of PV! 'Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza's Return'"

The fifth key visual for the ongoing release of "Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc  Part 1 - Akaza's Return" has been unveiled, along with the release of the PV for the fifth key visual.

The anime "Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba" is an adaptation of the manga of the same name that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The anime broadcast in April 2019 sparked a social phenomenon, and the cumulative number of copies of the 23-volume comic book series has exceeded 220 million.

The movie "Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba–The Movie: Mugen Train," which follows the first TV anime series "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc," depicted the "Mugen Train Arc." It achieved a total box office revenue of approximately 51.7 billion yen and became the highest-grossing film in Japan's history. From 2021 to 2022, the TV anime "Mugen Train Arc" and "Entertainment District Arc" were broadcast and streamed. In 2023, the "Swordsmith Village Arc" was released, and in 2024, the "Hashira Training Arc" was broadcast and streamed.

"The Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1" attracted 3.84 million viewers over its first three days, grossing 5.52 billion yen and setting new records for the highest opening performance, highest first-day performance, and highest single-day performance. In ten days since its release, it surpassed approximately 12.87 billion yen. It became the fastest film in Japan to surpass 10 billion yen in just eight days, breaking the previous record set by "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" (released in October 2020), which reached 10 billion yen in ten days, thus claiming the historic No. 1 spot.
