The first game, “Korokoro Kick Battle,” required players to kick a ball toward a scoring zone on the floor and earn points by landing the ball exactly in the announced zone beforehand. On his first try, Namikawa scored minus 50 points, and upon learning about the points deduction rule, he exclaimed in confusion, “Such a tough game right from the start!?”
Yashiro declared his aim for 100 points, but the ball went out of bounds, leaving him with zero points, which made him comment on the difficulty, “This game is pretty rough.” In his second attempt, Namikawa aimed for 100 points but only managed to stop at 50. Namikawa, frustrated, said, “My knees gave me the sign, 'Go ahead!'” to which Yashiro retorted, “I've heard of people talking to balls, but are you talking to your knees?” In the end, Namikawa had minus 50 points and Yashiro had zero, making Yashiro the winner of this round.
The next game, “Catch Battle,” involved throwing a ball five times at a velcro target held by the opponent, competing to see who could stick the most balls to the target. During practice, Yashiro accidentally hit the ball against the ceiling lights, prompting Namikawa to react, “Isn’t this a candidate for the Blunder of the Year?” During the real match, the throws led to unexpected results, including moments where they replayed footage and made self-deprecating remarks or pointed out each other’s movements, resulting in an overall friendly and lively battle.
