The First Immersive Exhibition of the World of "Record of Ragnarok"—Special Exhibition Announced!

The special exhibition "Record of Ragnarok" will be held at the Postal Museum Japan from Saturday, October 4, 2025, to Sunday, December 14, 2025.

This manga series, with art by Azychika, original story by Shinya Umemura, and composition by Takumi Fukui, is currently being serialized in "Monthly Comic Zenon". The series has surpassed a total circulation of 18 million copies. The anime series saw its second season globally distributed on Netflix in January 2023, achieving a greater hit than the first season. The third season is scheduled to be exclusively streamed on Netflix from December 2025.

Once every thousand years, all the gods from around the world gather together in the heavens for the "Council of Humanity’s Survival." Just before a unanimous verdict of "apocalypse" is delivered due to humanity's foolish actions across the ages, Brunhilde, one of the Valkyries—warrior maidens who are half-god, half-human—raises an objection. "It's too dull to simply eradicate humanity. Why not test them instead?" She proposes the ultimate God vs. Humanity showdown, known as "Ragnarok." Representatives chosen from gods across the world and from all of humanity’s history face off in one-on-one duels. With 13 matches in total, the first side to win seven bouts emerges victorious. Will humanity be able to surpass the gods and avert the apocalypse?

The upcoming special exhibition "Record of Ragnarok" is the first collaboration exhibition that deciphers the background of the characters and gods appearing in the anime using images depicted on stamps from around the world and across time, explaining the origins of the gods and historical figures who inspired the characters.

Moreover, ahead of the exclusive streaming of the third season, "Record of Ragnarok III," on Netflix in December 2025, the exhibition will feature original artwork, character designs, and other production materials from the anime. There will also be original goods featuring special illustrations drawn specifically for this exhibition available for purchase.
