A "Akuma Shōgun-Shaped Sake Cup" Faithfully Recreates the Original from "Kinnikuman" Now Available for Purchase

A pewter sake cup modeled after the popular superhuman character "Akuma Shōgun" from the manga "Kinnikuman" has been made into a product and became available for sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025.

"Kinnikuman," created by Yudetamago (story by Takashi Shimada and art by Yoshinori Nakai), began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979. It is currently serialized in both Weekly Playboy and Shu Play News (both by Shueisha), and the cumulative series total has surpassed 77 million copies in print. The TV anime "The Perfect Chojin Ancestors Arc Season 2" aired from January to March 2025, with Mamoru Miyano as Kinnikuman and Akira Kamiya playing Kinniku Mayumi and Prince Kamehame.

This product faithfully recreates the "Oni Dashi no Kama" (Demon Detection Pot) that appears in volumes 23 and 24 of the manga "Ultimate Muscle," turning it into a sake cup.
