The power of the ogre god, "Enki," awakened within Shiki proved to be overwhelming. Even as he is engulfed by massive flames, Tsubakiri's murderous intent toward the oni remains unwavering. This sentiment stems from both his manipulation of puppets and a vow to Manaka Momobe, the Momotaro who once guided Tsubakiri. Shiki barely manages to defeat Tsubakiri. However, with the Kyoto Branch on the brink of collapse, he attempts to escape with Mei but collapses from exhaustion and loses consciousness. Meanwhile, Mudano and the others have cornered Yomogi. Mudano deems Yomogi, who has shut herself inside a box, unable to continue fighting, and prioritizes rescuing his comrades. Upon arriving at the scene, he finds Oiranzaka Kyoya, who was thought to be dead, treating Shiki. The next day, Shiki regains consciousness and learns that, despite the heavy sacrifices, they have survived to see the morning.
