"Tougen Anki" is based on the popular manga series by Yura Urushibara, currently serialized in the Weekly Shonen Champion (published by Akita Shoten). Using the well-known Japanese folk tale "Momotaro" as its motif, it is a new-generation dark hero story depicting the conflict between those with the blood of Oni and those with the blood of Momotaro. The story begins when Shiki Ichinose (voiced by Kazuki Ura), a boy who had been living as a human, is suddenly attacked one day by a mysterious man from the Momotaro Organization.

Episode 10: "Child of the Oni God"
【Synopsis】
While fierce battles between the Oni and the Momotaro rage in Kyoto, Samidare Momoya is present at the Momotaro Organization headquarters in Tokyo. Brushing off provocations from 21st Squad Captain Shinya Momoiwa, Samidare declares that he will personally kill Shiki, one of the "Children of the Oni God." Meanwhile, Tsubakiri's goal is also to capture Shiki, who is a Child of the Oni God. Wanting to capture Shiki alive for research purposes, Tsubakiri thoroughly torments him. Furthermore, as Shiki collapses after exhausting all his blood, Tsubakiri attempts to kill Mei right before his eyes. Mei, who even has the deaths of her parents—who tried to protect her—mocked, falls into utter despair. It is at that moment that Shiki's cry reaches her. With a body completely depleted of blood and strength, Shiki strongly wishes for the power to protect. In the next instant, his entire body is engulfed in a massive flame. This is the power of the Flame Oni, the "Enki."
