A Famous Internet Meme Appears in Muzan’s “Power Harassment Meeting” from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — “Don’t Happily Report Information That Hasn’t Yet Been Confirmed!”

Once again, Muzan Kibutsuji’s (voiced by Toshihiko Seki) “power harassment meeting” has become a hot topic. In the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the lines with immense impact from Muzan, the absolute ruler of the demons, as he berates his subordinates, have attracted so much attention they’ve become internet memes.

Speaking of Muzan, his infamous “power harassment meeting” in Episode 26 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, where he executes his demon subordinates for unreasonable reasons, is widely known. In Episode 1 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc as well, Muzan, triggered by the defeat of Upper Rank Six by the Demon Slayer Corps, summons the remaining Upper Rank demons, turning it into a repeat of the infamous meeting.

Muzan displays disappointment and anger, saying, “Those who still retained much of their humanity are the first to be defeated. But that’s fine now. I have no expectations of you,” and “What about the Blue Spider Lily? Why has it not been found for hundreds of years?”

Gyokko, Upper Rank Five (voiced by Kousuke Toriumi), attempts to explain, “Muzan-sama! I am different! I have obtained information that brings me a step closer to fulfilling your desires! Just moments ago…” but Muzan’s rage remains unquenched. When Gyokko comes to his senses, he finds his head severed and resting in Muzan’s hand as Muzan declares, “Don’t happily report information that hasn’t yet been confirmed!”
