A Special Program Featuring the Cast Looking Back on the Second Season of the Anime "Kaiju No. 8" to Air on September 20!

A special program looking back on the second season of the anime "Kaiju No. 8," titled "Fight, Swarm Attack! 'Kaiju No. 8' Season 2 ABEMA Special!," will be exclusively broadcast free of charge on ABEMA from 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.

"Kaiju No. 8" is based on the popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto. The story follows Kafka Hibino, the protagonist who suddenly transforms into a "Kaiju" in a world threatened by monsters, and his ensuing battles. After its first TV anime season aired in 2024, the second season has been airing since July 2025, with new episodes broadcast for free every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on ABEMA.

Appearing in the special program are Masaya Fukunishi as Kafka Hibino/Kaiju No. 8, Fairouz Ai as Kikoru Shinomiya, Kengo Kawanishi as Sōshirō Hoshina, and Kōki Uchiyama as Gen Narumi. While sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the voice recording sessions, the cast will look back over the story of season two, as well as highlight what to expect in the upcoming showdown against Kaiju No. 9 and others. Additionally, the popular "Can You Do It in 8 Seconds? Challenge!" from the official "Kaiju No. 8" social media accounts will be featured in a special ABEMA segment, with the cast taking on various missions in just "8 seconds."
