Seeing these characters acting just like normal students, fans expressed, "So emotional," "I want to see more of their cheerful antics," and "I love these casual daily conversations..." Meanwhile, fans who have read the original manga also shared many thoughts such as, "Anime-only viewers, please engrave the peaceful daily lives of the First Years into your memory," and "It makes me cry thinking about what's coming. From here, everything gradually turns into hell."
The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation (including digital editions). The story begins when Yuji Itadori, who ends up sharing his body with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, transfers to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, a school specializing in fighting curses.
Following the "Shibuya Incident," the TV anime's third season, "Culling Game Part I," is scheduled to begin airing in January 2026. Ahead of the broadcast, the first and second episodes of Season 3 will have their world premiere in the theatrical release "Jujutsu Kaisen The Movie: Shibuya Incident Special Compilation Edition x Culling Game Advance Screening," which will be screened in theaters starting November 7.
